No, as long as your papers are complete and your intention in coming to Canada is real and genuine..
when your documents are written in another language like you are a National in other countries , like it is written in Chinese, Korean or Japanese etc..you all need to get it translated in English with certified translators..as long as you could do it by yourself, you might as well do your best,
Everytime you have questions, you can call immigration canada and they would provide you assistance while your paper are in process.. they are very helpful.
Save your money for more paper work.. even if you hire a lawyer, you still need to provide them all the documents they needed.. and the more you do it by yourself, the more you would learn lot. If you have concern about your grammar errors, you could ask someone to check it for you before sending it…like family members…
When you receive a result from them and need to update more or your case is complicated and need advice or paper work that you could not provided anymore by your own..then that is the time I would suggest to hire an immigration lawyer..
I know a lawyer, he knew I was applying for my visa, he did not even say anything.. maybe he knows I could make it by my own.. so what do you think? next time I saw him.. he said.. Congratulations, you made it! Welcome to Canada…
goodluck!
