Why is Obama reneging on his Oath of Office and challenging AZ’s immigration law?
“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
The 10th Amendment grants States the right to legislate and enforce laws accordingly, as AZ has done. In Obama’s little mind, this is ‘unacceptable’.
What I find UNACCEPTABLE is yet another president who thinks he’s above the US Constitution .. our rule of law!

The Constitution also says,” This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.”
Constitutionally federal law supersedes state law. Immigration policy is a Federal matter not a state matter. The President is bound by his oath, “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution…” to protect the Federal laws supremacy over state law when it comes to immigration.
Sorry, using your logic the President is bound to defend the Constitution by challenging the AZ law in Federal Court.
