Who are some good immigration attorneys in the atlanta,ga area?
Im looking to get citizenship for my fiance once we marry next month and I was wondering who is a good attorney in the atlanta,ga area? I am looking to get the best for the cheapest which is sometimes hard considering I am dealing with attorneys. If someone has used one in the atlanta area please let me know a ball park figure of what it cost and how well they represented you. BTW shes here on an f1 visa so its really not a complicated situation. I would just rather have a lawyer to guide me through it. Thanks
Go to www.aila.org. AILA stands for “American Immigration Lawyers Association” and is a good place to start. Of course not all AILA attorneys are necessarily “good” but it will help you eliminate some of the “bad” ones. Membership in the organization costs $300-$400 and is well worth it. Its a reasonable costs and that means most attorneys who focus on immigration cases will join. I would not recommend going to an attorney who is a “jack-of-all-trades.” Immigration practice is a highly technical field.
