Has anyone used www.skipthelawyer.com? Are they legitimate?
This website has a service of helping individuals complete and process their immigration work for $695 without a lawyer. I was wondering if anyone worked with them and if they were legitimate or are they a scam? They want at least $300 of the $695 upfront, and I am worried that they may disappear away with my money and I will never see it again. They have a NC Registration link on their website so if anyone knows about that, you can check it and see if that means anything or not.

I wouldn’t do it. The whole site gives me the creeps. Plus getting married just to get a green card is risky… and that’s one of the big headlines on the site. I certainly wouldn’t trust a site that suggested something like that.
I vote thumbs down -but if you have the $695 to throw away, then do it the legal way … not through some cheesy looking website like this.
