Please help immigration lawyer i have interview after 3 days?
I have been married to us citizen for 3 years and i filed my premanant resident application and my wife and i went for interview with an officer and it was video tabed before 3 months, and the office said you will get the answer on the mail?
so i guess they didnt approve my case because they asked for a second interview and to bring a lot of papers all over again, but with this period of time i had a fight with my wife and she called the police because i pushed her and i was arrested for domesic violance, she didnt ask for that but the state took over, so in the court she was standing beside me and she said he didnt do anything so it was reduced for Disturbing the peace (M) and 32H for ANGER MANG CLASS. WHAT WILL I DO WITH MY INTERVIEW IF THEY ASK ME about it shall i say Domestic violance or Disturbing the peace and do they have the right to deny my case for any of these convections?
please help me what to do i cant afforad a lawyer now i paid a lot of money fine and bail and class
Just tell the truth and go step by step… say you were arrested for …….., you were charged with……… and your punishment was……. Whatever you do don’t lie, as this will get you in a world of trouble. I believe they can deny you if you have been convicted of a felony, I highly doubt they would deny you for disturbing the peace but it may make them grill you harder as you have now been in trouble with the law… was it your 1st offense? If you argue with your wife again (if you are still together!), make sure you keep your hands to yourself….
