Will I have problem with Philippines I-Card Expiring?
I need to travel next week. I am in the Philippines on 13-a probationary visa. It expires July 18th. I applied to convert it to a permanent resident visa. We have an interview by immigration’s lawyer on Tuesday. We need to leave that week and will be gone for 6 months. Can an agent process the end of the paper work for me? Including I-Card? What do I do about expired I-card? It will expire while I am away. I was told by one official that I would have to start all over again. Is this true? Did it happen to anyone?
There are lots of agents that do all of those things for other people. I go to immigration every 2 months and every time that I go, there are agents there with lots of passports.
