getting my green card through marriage but my bf gets unemployment would it work?
i am not sure if he i can still get my greed card if he gets unemployment . i asked the immigration lawyer and she said i would need a co- person someone else to back him up .. any advice ?
you’d need a co-sponsor, someone to file an I-864 with you. your unemployment compensation can’t be counted. but if you file the paperwork and get someone to back you up as a co-sponsor, yes, it’s possible.
