how much does lawyer earn per client? per case?
I got a job at very small law office. the attorney works by herself. I dont think the attorney has lot of clients but she told me she only picks the good ones. how much can she earn for like business law or immigration law for each case? if attorney picks a good case? will the attorney still pay me if she run out of clients? in a small firm? any clue?
It depends upon the case and the amount claimed in the petition .It is usually fixed between 8 to 15 percent of the claim.
The attorneys, as a general practice, keep their staff on job, even when they are free without cases !!
