How long does the application process take for an Iranian to come to the US after marriage?
Hello. I am an american/iranian, born in the US. I am traveling to Iran this summer to marry an iranian man. about how long does it take for the application process, for him to come here? also, is it wise to hire an immigration lawyer? Anyone with experience with this, that has informative advice, would be greatly appreciated! thanks
It never hurts to have a lawyer. It’s difficult to predict how long the process will take. He will have to undergo a background check, a health screening and fingerprinting. If he passes everything and there are no questions it will go much more quickly than if there are questionable connections in his past, criminal charges or health issues.
