
Are there immigration laws prohibiting criminals entering USA?
I think there must be such laws, but I want to know exactly how they say, and what kind of criminals are kept out of this country.
Please help if, especially,you are immigration officers or lawyers.

The INA (Immigration and Naturalization Act) clearly states that anyone applying for admission to the US either as an Immigrant or non-Immigrant who has been convicted of a “Crime Involving Moral Turpitude” (i.e., murder, assault, rape) can be denied entry into the US (there are some, but very few, exceptions).
Similarly, anyone who has been deemed a “Public Risk” (either through physical or mental illness) can be denied entry as well.
Terrorists, known supporters of terrorism, direct family members of “leaders of organized crime,” and others can be barred as well.
