Why do people waste their money using immigration attorneys or notary public?

Question is directed for persons seeking admission or wanting to get a family member in the U.S. The paperwork is so easy and usually can be printed in the persons native language. If any problems arise, just ask an immigration officer at a local INS office. Lawyers charge way too much money for these people usually under financial duress.

I did all of my own paperwork for my fiance’s visa. You are right – it’s very easy. They even give you checklists to print out to make sure you have all the documents you need. Don’t waste your money on an attorney for this.

Are you a lawyer? if yes please answer : Is it hard to become an immigration attorney?

I don’t like other type of law and I have noticed there aren’t much immigration attorneys in my area, why is that?

The key to getting into the type of law you want to practice is getting an internship in the area of law you wish to practice. In order to do that, take classes that will be relevant to immigration law, including international law and tax classes. Even if there aren’t a lot in your area, try to find internships in other cities (if you can afford to travel there for the summer). Then, start your own firm when you pass the bar! Or, take the bar in a state that does a lot of immigration work, like California, Florida or Texas. Best of luck!
