Can I get a green card ?
I’m currently staying in the united states under visitor visa.
I came from Israel like a week ago.
I think that I can get a green card or at least permission to work and live here because my father lives here for 20 years and has a permission to stay here as long as he wants and also he have a business, But he is not a US citizen.
Other then that, I’ve got 3 brothers that are us citizens.
I’m 20 years old.
Do I qualify for a green card ?
and also I’m looking for a good immigration lawyer In the NJ area (Wayne, New jersey) for this…
You can get a greencard in about 10 years if you want to. At least if one of your brothers is willing to sponsor you for a greencard. You are not allowed to stay in the US while waiting for a greencard. You also may or may not have a greater problem getting a visitors visa if you get sponsored for a greencard as you clearly have intent to immigrate.
You only can try to get a work visa in the meantime. And that only if you have an advanced qualification, e.g. Masters degree or PhD. If not go back home after your visit and study to get some qualifications.
